Tajik Olympic Committee VP Takes Part in the 24th ANOC General Assembly
DUSHANBE, 19.10.2019 (NIAT Khovar) – The 24th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) was held in Doha, Qatar.
More than a thousand representatives of the 204 national Olympic committees, regional organizations, the International Olympic Committee, and international sports organizations discussed the most important issues in the field of sports.
Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Committee for Youth and Sports Ahtam Abdullozoda, and NOC’s General Secretary Muhammadsho Abdullozoda represented Tajikistan at the meeting.
The reports of the President of ANOC, General Secretary, and Finance Commission were also heard at the meeting.
Responsible persons informed the participants on the issues relating to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the Lausanne 2020 Winter Olympic Youth Games, the first coastal game of the world that ended on October 16 in Doha, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Dakar 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the Paris 2024 Winter Olympic Games, and Milan 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
The ANOC Awards Ceremony also took place.
