Subhi Vatan Intends to Export Tajik Dried Fruits to the US Market
DUSHANBE, 14.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – Subhi Vatan intends to export various types of dried fruits, apricot, peach and tomato juices to the US on the basis of a cooperation agreement. The products of this Tajik company were also ordered by Turkish, Lithuanian and Kazakh buyers.
Subhi Vatan was established in 2013 in Isfara. It is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Tajikistan. It produces its products under the brand name Shirin.
Until 2019, Subhi Vatan was mainly exporting its products to Russia and Kazakhstan. In 2019 it expanded its activities and exported various types of dried apples to Germany. It also exported anzur, guraob (aged juice of unripe grapes) and grape leaves to the US for the first time.
Last year, the company exported 60 tons of products to the EU and 22 tons to the US. The company intends to increase its production capacity to five million cans per year.
In order to fulfill the instructions of President Emomali Rahmon, voiced at his Address to the country’s Supreme Assembly, effective measures are being taken to increase the export of organic agricultural products.
In the context of government’s support in promoting export of products, the Office of the Chairman of Sughd Province and the Tajik CCI pay special attention to entrepreneurs and manufacturing enterprises for export development and entering the global market.
