DUSHANBE, 17.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – On Saturday, Istiklol defeated Khujand at the central match of the championship’s twelfth round with a score of 4-0.

Istiklol increased its lead over Khujand to 11 points, reports the Football Federation of Tajikistan.

The other 4 matches of the round were played on Sunday.

CSKA lost to Kuktosh with a score of 1-5.

Dushanbe-83 beat Regar-TadAZ with a score of 3-0 at the Vahdat Central Stadium.

Khatlon suffered its second defeat in a row, losing to Faizkand with a score of 1-2.

The match between Lokomotiv-Pamir and Istaravshan, who are fighting to maintain in the higher league, ended with a score of 2-2.

There are only 6 rounds left until the end of the championship. Istiklol with 34 points leads the standings. Khujand with 23 points is in second place, and Khatlon with 21 points ranks third. Kuktosh moved up to fourth place with 19 points.

The matches of the next round of the championship will be played on August 23 and August 24.
