Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Hold Investment Forum

DUSHANBE, 29.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – A Tajik-Uzbek Investment Forum was held today in Dushanbe as part of Uzbek Prime Minister’s visit.
The forum was chaired by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqi Zavqizoda.
Zavqizoda highlighted that due to the constructive initiatives of the two presidents Emomali Rahmon and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the cooperation between the two countries has reached a qualitatively new level.
“These events have become a tradition in order to strengthen economic cooperation, increase the export potential, and attract investment,” Zavqizoda said.
Over 300 participants of both countries, including heads of the state agencies, as well as companies attended the forum.
Following the forum, a bilateral meeting of entrepreneurs of the two countries took place in B2B format, which resulted in the signing of new cooperation agreements.
