Tajik and Russian Energy Ministers Discuss Export of Oil and Gas Products

DUSHANBE, 20.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 18 in Moscow, Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma met with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Shulginov.
The meeting focused on the development of the electric power industry, and the joint venture Sangtuda HPP-1 carried out on the basis of intergovernmental agreements.
It also centered on providing opportunities for oil and gas production to Tajikistan, issues of exporting oil and gas products from Russia to Tajikistan, as well as further cooperation of both departments in these and other areas.
The parties noted that efforts will be made to develop and resolve the issues outlined in the agenda of the meeting, which will further contribute to the expansion of mutually beneficial bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries.
