Head Coach Niyatbekov: “We Will Do Our Best at the CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship”

DUSHANBE, 21.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The head coach of the Tajik women’s futsal team Shamshod Niyatbekov shared his expectations for the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Women’s Futsal Championship that will start today.
“We started preparing for the CAFA Championship in December. We held two training camps, to which more than 20 players were invited. According to their results, 14 players were selected for the tournament,” he said.
“As for our opponents, the Iranian team is definitely the main favorite of the tournament. Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are also very good and strong opponents. Nevertheless, we will go to every match with the expectation to win,” Niyatbekov added.
“Taking this opportunity, I invite all fans to the magnificent Dushanbe Multifunctional Sports Complex to support our team,” he emphasized.
The Tajik team will play two matches with Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Today, they will play against Kyrgyzstan.
