Iran Wins 2022 CAFA Women Championship Ahead of Schedule

DUSHANBE, 28.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Ahead of the schedule for the round before the finish of the 2022 CAFA Women Championship, Iran won the gold.
In the fifth round, the match between Iran and Uzbekistan tied with the score of 2-2.
In another match, Tajikistan lost to Kyrgyzstan with a score of 1-4 and lost all chances of getting into the top three of the championship.
A round before the finish of the tournament, Iran won the gold medal ahead of schedule. The silver medal went to Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan won the bronze.
The matches of the final round will be played today between Uzbekistan — Kyrgyzstan (15:00) and Tajikistan — Iran (18:00).
