Runner Muzrapov Updates Record of Tajikistan at the World Athletics Championships

DUSHANBE, 20.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik runner Favoris Muzrapov updated the record of Tajikistan in the 60 meters at the World Athletics Championships, which takes place in Serbian Belgrade.
He, the only representative of Tajikistan in this championship, ran this distance in 6.83 seconds and took 37th place among 50 participants. The first three places were taken by Lamont Marcel Jacobs of Italy (6.41) and athletes from the U.S. Christian Coleman (6.41) and Marvin Bresi (6.44).
According to the head coach of the national athletics team Gairat Nematov, recently Muzrapov set a record in the republican race at a distance of 60 meters with a score of 6.85 seconds, and now his result at the World Championships has improved again.
The World Athletics Championships in Belgrade started on March 18 and will end today.
