DUSHANBE, 30.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of searching for export markets, increasing the export potential and promoting the export of domestic products, including dried fruits, vegetables, and textiles, were discussed yesterday by the Director of the Export Agency under the Government of Tajikistan Shavkat Bobozoda and the Ambassador of Slovakia to Tajikistan Jan Bori.
Bobozoda noted that one of the main indicators of agricultural production is the export of high-quality fresh fruits, as well as dried fruits and vegetables, which in recent years are in demand.
He noted that the “State Program for the Development of Exports of Tajikistan for 2021-2025” was adopted. Its goal is to develop the export of goods and services, strengthen export-oriented and import-substituting production, reduce the share of consumer goods and services in total imports, create favorable conditions for the implementation of state foreign economic policy, and increase the competitiveness of domestic products in the domestic and foreign markets.
The meeting presented the opportunities for exporting domestic products, as well as the main activities of the Export Agency, including promoting the sustainable development of the quantity and quality of exports of domestic goods, increasing the country’s export potential, and attracting foreign buyers.
