Tajik Athletes Attend Antalya Grand Slam 2022

DUSHANBE, 01.04.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Tajik athletes will take part in the Antalya Grand Slam 2022, which will run untill April 3, reports the Judo Federation of Tajikistan.
Over 535 athletes from 65 countries are expected to compete in the tournament. The Tajik team includes six athlete, namely Mehrzod Sufiev (-60 kg), Abubakr Sherov (-66 kg), Shahboz Saidabrorov (-66 kg), Somon Mahmadbekov (-73 kg), Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (-90 kg), Jahongir Majidov (-90 kg), Abubakri Akobir (-100 kg), and Temur Rahimov (+100 kg).
The tournament is held according to the rules of the International Judo Federation in 7 weight categories for men and 7 weight categories for women.
The winners will be awarded cash prizes, including € 5,000 for first place, € 3,000 — for second place and € 1,500 euros — for third place.
