Dushanbe Water Festival Will Be Held as Part of the International Water Conference

DUSHANBE, 25.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – On June 6, as part of the Dushanbe Second Water Conference, which will be held from June 6 through June 9, the Dushanbe Water Festival will be held in the capital’s Navruzgoh Park of Culture and Leisure.
The main goal of the event is to raise public awareness of the value of water as a vital resource, the importance of preserving it for future generations.
The organization of the festival is aimed at demonstrating the policy and practice of Tajikistan as a leading country in promoting water issues on the global agenda.
The festival program includes an exhibition of folk crafts, Tajik national dishes, various types of drinking water, and a concert program with the participation of the country’s leading masters of art.
This, according to the organizers, will allow the guests to get acquainted with the rich history, culture, art, and life of the Tajik people.
