Tajik Delegation Attends Forum in the Republic of Korea

DUSHANBE, 26.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik delegation headed by the head of the Customs Service Khurshed Karimzoda took part in a forum on trade facilitation policy in Seoul.
The forum was also attended by the heads of the customs authorities of Georgia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, as well as the Asian Development Bank.
The forum focused on the priority areas of customs activity and compliance of customs authorities of the participating countries with the requirements and challenges of the modern world related to the facilitation of trade procedures arising from the obligations of the WTO member countries, the WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation.
The best practices of the Customs Service of the Republic of Korea in the field of digital customs, trade facilitation and the use of modern information and communication technologies, which occupy a prominent place among the developed countries of the world, were also studied.
The forum will last until May 27.
