DUSHANBE, 05.07.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athlete Shabbos Negmatulloev won a bronze medal at the international boxing competition — the Elord Cup in Nursultan.

The competition, in which athletes from 10 countries take part, began on June 30 and will end today.

Negmatulloev in the category up to 80 kg defeated Kazakh Bairzhan Baigonshekov, Cuban Salgado Brian Leon, but in the semifinals he lost to the Chinese Tanglatian Aerbeke and took third place.

Other Tajik athlete Khusravkhon Rahimov in the 57 kg weight category lost to the Uzbek athlete Dilshod Abdumurodov in the first round.
