Tajik Delegation Will Attend Conference of Transport Ministers in Turkmenistan

DUSHANBE, 15.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Transport of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim will lead a delegation that will take part in the International Conference of Landlocked Countries.
Representatives of 32 developing countries and 30 international organizations will take part in the conference, which will be held from August 15 through August 16 in the Avaza tourist zone (Turkmenistan).
The conference is held jointly with the UN and will be dedicated to the creation of transport and transit corridors, the integration of a multimodal transport infrastructure system, the digitalization of the transport process, and the development of electric transport.
The Minister of Transport of Tajikistan will lead the fourth session of the conference, entitled “Accelerate digitalization to improve and transit and simplify the business process, as well as a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tajik delegation also included the head of the Transport and Logistics Services Rahmiddin Salomzoda and representatives of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan.
The conference will focus on the development of regional transport corridors.
