Tajikistan Will Hold Joint Meeting with Iran in Tehran

DUSHANBE, 05.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Juma and the Minister of Energy of Iran Ali Akbar Mehrabyan will hold the 15th meeting of the Joint Tajik and Iranian Economic Commission.
The meeting will be held in Tehran from December 5 through December 6.
“It is planned to discuss various sectors, including trade, finance, energy, transport, industry, engineering services, healthcare, investment and tourism,” Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mahdi Safari said.
On December 2, the issues discussed at this meeting were agreed between the ministries of the two countries online.
Tajikistan is interested in developing cooperation with Iran in the field of electricity, road construction, transport, communications, education, science, culture, healthcare, industry and other areas.
