Document on the Facilitation of Transit Along the Trans-Caspian East-West Middle Corridor Signed in Baku

DUSHANBE, 17.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The protocol of the action plan for the development and implementation of simplified transit rules on the principle of “Single Window” along the Trans-Caspian East-West Middle Corridor was signed in Baku.
The document was signed by the heads of the customs authorities of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
This will improve the conditions for simplifying customs operations based on digital financial services.
A multilateral meeting was held in Baku on the project to simplify the transit customs procedure on the principle of “Single Window” ” along the Trans-Caspian East-West Middle Corridor.
Tajikistan was represented by the Head of the Customs Service Khurshed Karimzoda.
