DUSHANBE, 10.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 10, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali met with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a state visit to Tajikistan.
It was stated that the first state visit of President Berdimuhamedov to Tajikistan will play an effective role in the development and expansion of relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The parties exchanged views on a wide range of issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, including in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as the expansion of inter-parliamentary ties.
The meeting also focused on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
