Special Representative of the Korean Foreign Ministry Visits the Tajik International University of Foreign Languages

DUSHANBE, 22.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Issues of cooperation, implementation of agreements between the International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan with the universities of the Republic of Korea, as well as the study of the Korean language were discussed by the rector of the International University of Foreign Languages Jilo Gulnazarzoda, Special Representative of the Korean Foreign Ministry Baek Chuhyun and Ambassador of Korea to Tajikistan Kwon Dong Seok.
The meeting provided information about the university and the department of the Korean language, where 98 students study, as well as another 196 people take special courses. They are taught by five experienced teachers.
Special Representative of the Korean Foreign Ministry said that he would contribute to the expansion of fruitful bilateral relations, as well as to the implementation of the tasks set.
The guests were presented with a two-volume book “Zaboni millat – hastii millat” (The Language of the Nation is the Essence of the Nation) by President Emomali Rahmon, which, at the initiative of the leadership of the International University of Foreign Languages, was translated into Russian, English, Chinese and presented at a high level.
There was also an open conversation with teachers and students.
