Tajikistan Produces Over 10.7 Billion kWh of Electricity

DUSHANBE, 03.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – This year, taking into account small power plants, more than 10.7 billion kWh of electricity was produced in Tajikistan, which is 209.3 million kWh more compared to the same period last year. The growth rates were secured by 103.3%.
During this period, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan took effective measures regarding the development, modernization of the energy industry and the global initiative of the President of Tajikistan in the field of water supply and protection of glaciers, which is the fifth global initiative of Tajikistan on water and climate issues on a planetary scale.
