Tajikistan and Korea Ready to Expand Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 20.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The bilateral trade turnover between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea has grown, but its indicators are not satisfactory. This was stated yesterday at a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Lee Seong-ho.
Zavkizoda explained that for the development of bilateral cooperation, it is necessary to create joint industrial enterprises for the production of textiles, aluminum, electrical engineering, and food in the free economic zones of Tajikistan with Korean investments.
The parties expressed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
