Volume of Foreign Trade Turnover Between Tajikistan and Germany Increases by 2.1 Times

DUSHANBE, 06.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The volume of foreign trade turnover with Germany in the first half of 2023 amounted to $93.9 million, an increase of $50 million, or 2.1 times compared to the same period last year. This indicator was mentioned at the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda with a delegation of German investors led by the Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms on September 4 in Dushanbe.
It was noted that, taking into account the wide opportunities of the parties, the volume of foreign trade turnover can be increased.
Zavkizoda offered German investors funding for sectors of the national economy, including industry and energy.
The parties expressed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and implement the plans.
