National Exhibition of Iranian Goods and Products Kicks Off in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 26.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the National Exhibition of Iranian Goods and Products kicked off at the Manege complex in Dushanbe, where more than 50 Iranian companies presented their products in the fields of energy, agriculture, construction, light, food, pharmaceutical industries and other areas.
It was reported that over the 31 years of State independence, about 200 documents on cooperation were signed between Tajikistan and Iran, indicating the expansion of ties between the two states. In particular, in January and September of this year, foreign trade turnover between Tajikistan and Iran amounted to $175 million, which is $17.9 million, or 11 percent more than in the same period last year.
It was emphasized that the effective activities of joint companies of Tajikistan and Iran in the country are well established, which can be exemplified by the activities of the Tojiron company.
Also, it was noted that the significant activity of other Iranian companies in Tajikistan, of which there are more than 200, is evidence of the expansion from year to year of cooperation between the two states.
The initiators of the exhibition named the purpose of its holding to be the presentation of scientific and technical achievements and products of Iranian companies in the fields of energy, construction, light industry, agriculture, food industry, and pharmaceuticals.
The exhibition will last until December 29. Tajik entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to find new trading partners with representatives of Iranian companies. Along with this, residents and guests can purchase goods and products at affordable prices from Iranian manufacturers.
