Tajik Football Team Is Now in the Top-100 of the FIFA Ranking

DUSHANBE, 16.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday. the International Federation of Football Associations published the next ranking of national football teams. Tajik national football team was included among top-100 teams of the ranking.
After successful participation in the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar, the Tajik team with 1218.89 points rose to 99th place. Among the representatives of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Tajik team ranks 16th.
It should be noted that the Tajik team took part in the Asian Cup for the first time in history and achieved significant success in the history of the country’s sports.
According to the results of the 2023 Asian Cup, the Tajik team was among the eight best teams of the continent in the tournament.
