Tajikistan to Modernize Postal Services through Automation Project

The Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Service and Technology Limited Liability Company have signed a public-private partnership agreement to implement the project “Development of the Postal System of Tajikistan: Automation of the Postal Forwarding Process.”.
According to the press center of the Communications Service, the initiative aims to modernize Tajikistan’s postal infrastructure by introducing an automated system for postal forwarding. The project is expected to enhance service quality and align mail processing, dispatch, and control procedures with contemporary international standards.
In addition, the project will improve logistics and order fulfillment services, creating new opportunities for the growth of e-commerce and the expansion of digital services.
The initiative is anticipated to strengthen the national communications infrastructure and support sustainable economic development. The total investment amounts to $5 million, fully funded by Service and Technology LLC. The project is projected to create more than 150 permanent jobs, while over 500 postal employees will be engaged in the new operational processes.
