Tajikistan, ADB Discuss Expanding Cooperation on Investment

Sulton Rahimzoda, chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of Tajikistan, met with representatives of the Asian Development Bank to discuss expanding cooperation, the committee said.
The sides focused on attracting investment and implementing joint projects in priority sectors, including agriculture, food security, environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources.
They also exchanged views on socio-economic development in mountainous regions, improvements to local infrastructure and efforts to raise living standards.
Officials said such cooperation could help strengthen Tajikistan’s economic potential and support sustainable development.
