Tajikistan Exports 3.7 Million Eggs, 324,300 Chicks and 360 Bee Colonies

DUSHANBE, 11.07.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan recorded significant growth in exports in the livestock and poultry sectors during the first six months of this year. During the reporting period, the country exported 3.7 million eggs, 324,300 chicks, 360 bee colonies and 33 tonnes of fish, officials announced on July 9 during a press conference held by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan.
“In addition to supplying the domestic consumer market with locally produced goods, customs statistics show that in the first half of 2026 Tajikistan exported 74,300 tonnes of agricultural products worth USD 39.9 million,” representatives of the ministry stated during the briefing.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Tajik agricultural products were exported to 21 countries both within and outside the region. Of the total export volume, 89 percent was destined for the CIS member states, while the remaining 11 percent was shipped to non-CIS countries.
The exported agricultural products included 21,800 tonnes of vegetables, 10,600 tonnes of fresh fruits, 39,900 tonnes of dried fruits, 746 tonnes of nuts, 102 tonnes of melons and gourds, 33 tonnes of fish, and 822 tonnes of other agricultural products.
