Overall, as of July 1, 2026, Tajikistan had registered 4,002 industrial enterprises employing 890,059 people, which is 153 enterprises more than in 2025.
The development of the industrial sector remains one of the key priorities of the Government of Tajikistan, with various programs and strategies adopted to support its growth. The declaration of 2022–2026 as the Years of Industrial Development serves as evidence of this commitment.
Within the framework of the five-year industrial development initiative, 400 production enterprises began operations in Tajikistan in 2025.
