Tajikistan and TIKA Discuss Strengthening Institutional Cooperation and Digitalization of the Financial Sector

DUSHANBE, 15.07.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Faiziddin Kahhorzoda held a meeting with the newly appointed Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Tajikistan Kadir Furkan Odabasi.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting focused on strengthening institutional cooperation, digitalization of the financial sector, and the development of a “Roadmap for Cooperation” between the relevant sides.
The parties also discussed the attraction of technical assistance and the organization of professional development programmes for specialists based on Türkiye’s advanced experience.
The sides expressed readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and enhance partnership in priority areas of mutual interest.
