DUSHANBE, 12.04.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali signed a decree on holding the X International Half Marathon in honor of Capital’s Day.

The half marathon will be organized in order to strengthen relations with the twin cities, as well as with cities supporting the fruitful socio-economic cooperation with Dushanbe, reports the Department of Public Information and External Affairs at the Chairman’s Office.

“The X International Half Marathon will be organized on April 20 at 9:00 am according to the established distance,” reads the decree.

Considering its international status and the inclusion of the Dushanbe’s half marathon in the list of competitions of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan will assist those wishing to participate with obtaining visas.
