Chairman of Dushanbe Decrees Day of Youth to Be Celebrated on a High Level
DUSHANBE, 08.05.2019. (NIAT Khovar) – The Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali signed a decree approving the action plan of his office to celebrate the Day of Youth of Tajikistan on a high level.
Various cultural, entertainment and educational programs, conferences, forums, meetings and talks involving young people and teenagers are expected to be held within the action plan, reports the Department of Public Information and External Affairs of the Chairman’s Office.
The celebrations in Dushanbe will take place in the parks of culture and recreation.
The action plan was developed in order to effectively implement the state youth policy, promote the process of patriotic education and celebrate Day of Youth in Dushanbe at a high cultural level.
Since 1998, Day of Youth is being celebrated on May 23. Today, 70% of the populations of Tajikistan consists of young people.
