Minister of Economic Development Zavkizoda and UNDP Resident Representative Discuss Results of Implementation of the Medium-Term Development Program

DUSHANBE, 20.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavka Zavkizoda met with the UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan Pratibha Mehta.
The meeting focused on the progress in implementing the comprehensive measures of the government to prevent or reduce the economic consequences associated with the coronavirus pandemic, further cooperation with development partners, in particular the UNDP, the results of the implementation of the Medium-Term Development Program of Tajikistan for 2016-2020, the process development of the draft Medium-Term Development Program of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 and the draft State Program for the Development of Export of Tajikistan for 2021-2025, the course of improving the modeling system and macroeconomic perspective.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to support the discussed issues, as well as to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas under consideration.
