Over 1.9 Billion Somoni Investments in Fixed Assets Disbursed in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 29.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – More than 1.9 billion somoni ($150.3 million) of investment in fixed assets have been used in Tajikistan from all sources of financing for the first two months of this year, which is 22.5% more than in the same period last year.
Over the specified period, investments in the amount of more than 1.1 billion somoni, or 61.4%, have been disbursed for industrial facilities.
At non-production facilities, investments have been disbursed in the amount of 752.5 million somoni, or 38.6% of the total investment in the republic.
About 1 billion somoni has been disbursed for the construction of electric power facilities. The volume of disbursed investments in the construction of power facilities has increased 1.7 fold compared to January-February 2021.
Over 128 million somoni of investments in fixed assets have been disbursed in the transport and communication sectors.
