Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Discusses the Process of Implementation of Joint Projects

DUSHANBE, 25.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The process of implementation of the agreements reached between the leaders of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the field of industry, energy, geology, logistics and export was discussed during the meeting of the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir and the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobir Islamov in Dushanbe.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of implementation of joint projects according to the results of the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, which was held on May 12 of this year in Tashkent.
The parties also discussed the results of the working visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the industrial, energy and historical areas of Panjakent and Ainy district, which took place on May 22-23. Following the meeting, the parties signed documents of cooperation in order to implement specific measures.
