DUSHANBE, 01.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The rector of the Tajik National University Kobiljon Khushvakhtzoda met with the rector of the Chinese Xinjiang Normal University Woman John Iley.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors made a speech on the development of multifaceted cooperation between universities, including in the field of scientific and educational cooperation, and exchanged views on establishing relations in connection with the exchange of teachers and students.

The parties expressed interest in expanding further cooperation between the Tajik National University and Xinjiang Normal University, discussed issues of studying the Chinese language, organizing language cycles and international meetings, as well as in terms of improving joint programs.

Following the meeting, the guests visited the newly built building of the Confucius Institute of Education and Culture at the Tajik National University.
