Tajik Students Win Medals at the International Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad

DUSHANBE, 14.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Eighteen Tajik students attended the International Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Tajik participants delivered strong performances in mathematics and information technology, earning a total of 12 medals: 1 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze — among hundreds of contestants from eight countries.
The International Al-Khwarizmi Olympiad is recognized as one of the most prestigious competitions in the field of exact sciences.
This year’s result marks a three-position improvement compared to last year and reflects the growing quality of education and talent development in Tajikistan.
The preliminary round of the Olympiad took place on March 12, while the final round was held from May 7 through May 13.
