Tajikistan and China Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Industry Sector

DUSHANBE, 27.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The expansion of cooperation in key industrial sectors and new technologies was discussed during a meeting between Sherali Kabir, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan, and Ji Shumin, Ambassador of China to Tajikistan, held in Dushanbe.
The talks focused on broadening trade and economic ties, attracting investment, and implementing joint projects aimed at strengthening Tajikistan’s industrial capacity.
Minister Kabir highlighted the positive momentum in bilateral cooperation in industry and new technologies and invited relevant Chinese agencies and enterprises to participate in the first International Textile Forum and Textile Equipment Exhibition, scheduled to take place in Tajikistan in July this year.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their mutual interest in deepening partnership and enhancing friendly relations between Tajikistan and China.
