Dushanbe and Tehran Discuss the Expansion of Sister City Relations

DUSHANBE, 10.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe Dilbar Odilzoda held a meeting in Iran with Mohammad Amin Tavakkolzadeh, Deputy Mayor of Tehran.
The discussion focused on expanding mutually beneficial ties between the cities of Dushanbe and Tehran. Special emphasis was placed on organizing joint initiatives in the fields of culture, tourism, and sports.
The two sides noted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum on the Restoration of Sister City Relations between Dushanbe and Tehran.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing cooperation between the twin cities.
