Tajikistan and EU Plan to Develop Cooperation in Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, and Mining

DUSHANBE, 15.07.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – Officials from the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan and Charlotte Adrian, Head of the Department at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships for the Middle East and Central Asia, discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, the ministry reported.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen mutually beneficial relations.
Special attention was given to attracting investments for joint projects in priority industrial sectors, including engineering, textile and food production, pharmaceuticals, as well as the mining industry, focusing on the extraction and processing of critical raw materials.
These areas were considered within the framework of the European Union’s “Global Gateway” initiative.
