Fireworks to be launched in Dushanbe in honor of Navruz holiday
DUSHANBE, 10.03.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Acting Chairman of Dushanbe City Rustami Emomali has signed the relevant decision in order to hold the International Navruz Holiday-2017 at a high organizational and artistic level on March 7.
Five-minute fireworks are scheduled to be performed on March 21 following the end of the event, which will last from 19:00 to 21:00 local time. The relevant city structures are instructed to create the necessary conditions for this purpose.
In the country Navruz is celebrated four days (March 21 — 24), and these days are declared days off.
The International Navruz Holiday is being celebrated since 2010. The government of several states, in particular Azerbaijan, Albania, Afghanistan, Macedonia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey proposed to enter a new date into the UN calendar.
