40 units of Isuzu passenger buses to be used in Dushanbe on the Capital Day
DUSHANBE, 13.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city, in order to improve the level and quality of services to passengers, on March 23 current year signed cooperation agreement with one of the Turkish companies, according to which 40 units of Isuzu passenger buses in the first phase and 24 others in the second phase will arrive in Dushanbe.
According to this agreement, on April 11, 40 units of Isuzu passenger buses were transferred from Turkey to the Republic of Tajikistan. The new passenger buses have been purchased for a total amount of EUR 3 428 600, and each of them is estimated at EUR 85 000. New passenger buses meet modern requirements and they have been installed cameras. Favorable conditions in this buses are also created for persons with disabilities”, — said Saidzoda Qurbon, Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe city today during a press conference.
He has also noted that Isuzu passenger buses will be used on April 15, which coincides with the celebration of the Day of the capital, and will serve free of charge to people on this day.
New passenger buses will move on the route №1 and №3 in the centre of the city – Rudaki Avenue, and after two months of cash payment will be transmitted to the electronic service. On each bus have been installed three electronic equipment.
“Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city intends to purchase 24 more Isuzu passenger buses for Dushanbe in July 2017”, — added Qurbon Saidzoda.
