Sister-City Relations Established between Dushanbe and Hainan
DUSHANBE, 13.12.2018 (NIAT Khovar) – The Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali met with a delegation of the Chinese Hainan province in Tajikistan.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views on establishing cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, education, tourism, light industry, food production and technology, reported the Department of Public Information and External Affairs at the Mayor’s Office.
A protocol on the establishment of sister-city relations between Dushanbe and Hainan was signed by the mayor of Dushanbe and the Deputy Governor of the Hainan Provincial People’s Government Wang Jun.
To date Dushanbe has established sister-city relations with the Chinese cities of Urumqi, Xiamen and Qingdao.
