Tajikistan, Pakistan Sign Agreement on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Affairs

DUSHANBE, 05.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – An agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs was signed yesterday between the Tajikistan and Pakistan. The document was signed by the head of the Customs Service Khurshed Karimzoda and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Tajikistan Imran Haidar.
The agreement provides for a direct exchange of information between the customs authorities of both countries for effective action to prevent violations of customs legislation, illicit trafficking of goods, drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, which pose a serious threat to human health and economies.
