Russian Entrepreneurs Looking to Create Joint Vegetable Drying Plant in Kulob

DUSHANBE, 08.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Russian entrepreneurs plan to establish a joint vegetable drying plant in Kulob.
Processing of onions, cabbage, and other vegetables will be carried out in the drying plant.
Russian entrepreneurs visited Somonkulobtajhizot and Sano to find a suitable building for the installation of technological lines.
In order to attract foreign investment for the construction of industrial enterprises in Kulob a Free Economic Zone was established by the government in an area of 309 hectares. It is expected that more than 3,750 new jobs and 3,000 seasonal jobs will be created in this economic zone.
