Tajikistan and Korea Discuss Prospects for Expanding Customs Cooperation
DUSHANBE, 26.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the customs authorities of Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea was discussed in Seoul by the head of the Tajik Customs Service Khurshed Karimzoda and the newly appointed Commissioner of the Korean Customs Authorities Yun Tesik.
The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two bodies and the process of implementing plans for the future.
Tesik noted that efforts will be put to further strengthen bilateral, regional, and international cooperation, especially within the framework of the World Customs Organization.
Karinzoda noted that Tajikistan pays special attention to friendly relations between the two countries and seeks to expand cooperation.
He said that ninth bilateral forum, which was held in 2015, created a favorable environment for expanding cooperation between the customs authorities of both countries.
