DUSHANBE, 05.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

At the outset of the talks President Tokayev congratulated President Rahmon on the occasion of his birthday and wished him good health, well-being, and great success in his work, and to the people of Tajikistan he wished peace and prosperity.

The leaders touched upon the development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Tajik-Kazakh relations of friendship and strategic partnership.

During the exchange of views on the bilateral agenda, in particular the upcoming summit talks in Astana, the sides also touched upon certain regional and international matters.
