DUSHANBE, 07.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Tajikistan Erlan Abdyldaev was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan. He was handed a note of protest regarding the statements of the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Kustebaev.
It was noted that the Tajik side regards such base statements of the press secretary of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry as evidence of the erosion of political culture and the absence of elementary diplomatic ethics. The comments by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan are a clumsy attempt to impose a deliberately false idea about the true reasons for Kyrgyzstan’s armed aggression against Tajikistan.
The note stated that the hypocritical comments do not correspond to the spirit and letter of the protocols signed by the parties earlier on September 19 and 25.During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the need for interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both countries for preventing the spread of misleading statements in the information space of both countries.
