Tajikistan and Belarus Plan to Increase the Issuance of Permits for Road Transport

DUSHANBE, 20.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan and Belarus agreed to increase the exchange of permit forms for international road transport by 2023. This became known at a meeting of the Tajik-Belarusian commission on cargo transportation held on November 29-30, 2022 in Dushanbe.
The volume of cargo transportation between the two countries increased in January-November 2022 compared to the same period in 2020. Taking into account the increase in the volume of cargo transportation by road and the needs of the carriers of both countries, the parties agreed to increase the number of permits for mutual road cargo transportation in 2023.
In addition, the parties agreed to create conditions for further developing international road transport between the two countries.
