Jazeera Airways Carries First Kuwait-Dushanbe Flight

DUSHANBE, 29.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Tonight, the first flight was carried out on the Kuwait-Dushanbe route.
The flight was operated by Jazeera Airways. The plane landed at 17:42 local time at the Dushanbe International Airport and returned an hour and 30 minutes thereafter.
The new route was launched at the initiative of the government of Tajikistan in collaboration with the government of Kuwait.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydzoda expressed hope that after the opening of this route, the number of tourists from both sides will increase, and economic, commercia, and investment cooperation will be strengthened.
According to him, this factor will contribute to the circulation and export of domestic goods and products to Kuwait and other Gulf countries.
Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Agency Aziz Nabizoda said that the new route will give a serious boost to the development of industry and the presentation of Tajikistan to the Gulf countries.
He added that in the future the agency will try to increase the number of flights.
Flights are scheduled to take place every Thursday and Saturday.
Founded in 2004, Jazeera Airways operates about 20 Airbus 320 and Airbus 321.
