DUSHANBE, 27.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – “The President of Tajikistan is the initiator of solving water issues in the region and the world” — under this title, an international scientific and theoretical conference was held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan within the framework of the UN Water Conference.

Representatives and experts of institutions of higher professional and scientific education of foreign countries, including the Netherlands, India and Malaysia, also took part in the conference along with domestic scientists and researchers.

The main goal of the conference was the consonance and support of the initiatives of the President Emomali Rahmon related to water and climate.

The university management emphasized that the state policy of Tajikistan in the field of water is aimed at solving urgent socio-economic issues of the region and the world. In this direction, the President Emomali Rahmon made specific proposals from the stands of authoritative international organizations and at present Tajikistan is known throughout the world as an initiator in water and climate issues.
