Muscat Hosts the Second Round of Political Consultations Between Tajikistan and Oman

DUSHANBE, 30.03.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On March 28, the second round of ministerial political consultations between Tajikistan and the Sultanate of Oman was held in Muscat.
The delegations of the parties were headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseinzoda and the Under Secretary for Diplomatic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy.
The consultations focused on issues related to the current state and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Oman in political, economic, trade, investment, energy, tourism, agriculture, industry, as well as strengthening the legal basis, cooperation of the two countries in the framework of international and regional organizations and other issues of mutual interest.
Moreover, the parties noted the importance of establishing high-level contacts and exchange of visits in the development of bilateral cooperation.
